12S/3 strands bag closing thread is the basic type of thread. The "12" in its parameters represents the yarn count, which can also be called the thickness, and "3" represents the number of strands of the yarn. This type of thread has a thinner diameter and is suitable for packaging light products. It is usually used to seal cartons, packaging bags and sew some lightweight products.

- Bright staple fiber, semi-bright staple fiber

Twist direction classification:

- Z twist (left twist): suitable for high-speed sewing machines, not easy to derail;

- S twist (right twist): suitable for special sewing needs, such as high-tension sewing.

Product features

- Good gloss, less hairiness, strong tensile strength, good elongation, light resistance and wear resistance, low moisture absorption.

Main uses

- Grain packaging: rice, flour, feed, etc. (PP or polyester thread is recommended);

- Chemical industry: fertilizer, cement, mineral powder (corrosion resistance is required, PP or nylon thread is recommended);

- Building materials industry: sand and gravel, building materials ton bags (high strength is required, 20S/12 polyester thread is recommended);

- Logistics and transportation: container ton bags, bulk bags (high-strength polyester or aramid thread is recommended);

- Special industries: anti-static packaging (conductive sewing thread), food-grade packaging (FDA certified thread).
